So let’s get started, first I have mentioned the Dos:
Choose Nutritious Foods:
Taking healthy diet is one of the best things to make a distance from cardiovascular disease. Many factors depend upon your food intake habit like cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes, and overweight. Choose nutritious foods — which provides your body essential vitamins, minerals, fiber and other nutrients but are lower in calories. Prepare a diet which maintains intake of vegetables, fruits, and whole grains; includes vitamins, minerals, fiber, low-fat dairy products, and limits intake of sweets, sugar-drinks, cheese and high-fat meat(red meat).
One of the main factors of heart stroke is High blood pressure which also causes paralysis. Change habits who increase your blood pressure and reduce salt intake in every form. An optimal blood pressure reading is less than 120/80 mmHg.
Exercise 5 days per week:
It is recommended, to do exercise 4-5 days per week, lasting on average 45 minutes per session, and low to high level of workout can help you to maintain lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol and keep your weight at a healthy level. Even whenever you have time like in office do some Squats. People who maintain a moderate level of exercise in their daily routine will live longer and healthier than others who don’t do so.
Aim for a healthy weight:
In 85% of heart disease cases, researchers have shown that due to obesity they are getting affected. It’s not only about busy adults, children are also obese and going toward this disease. Dieting and other fat reduction supplements are not the option to tackle it. Only good nutritious diet, which controls your calorie intake and physical activity is the only way to maintain a healthy weight. Obesity leads you to a higher risk to get easily affected by high cholesterol, high blood pressure and insulin resistance, a precursor to type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Peoples are getting stressed due to many problems these days and this high-stress life leads them to have heart attacks, high blood pressure, and addictions. Researchers have also shown that stress is the main cause of having high blood pressure which turns into heart disease. Keep calm and think positively, try to sort out problems without getting stress.
Now time to for Don’ts:
The toughest thing to do is quit smoking because you see people smoking around you and make you smoke. But it’s up to you what you want a healthy life or life of diseases, stress, medication. So try to make a good decision and try to eliminate smoking from your daily routine.
Drinking too much alcohol can cause liver failure and increase your blood pressure too. Try to reduce intake of alcohol and if you want to take then have quality products. Alcohols give us instant mind relief but long-term intake tends to addiction and gives bad health results. If you diagnosed with high blood pressure and heart disease try to boycott bar visits and parties which takes you away from drinks and give your health time to improve.
